Open Art Collective is the creative signature of multidisciplinary artist Alexane Couture, a space where movement, design, illustration, and the beauty of everyday life come together. Born from a play on the phrase “open heart”—with the H intentionally removed—Open Art Collective represents a deep openness to all forms of art.

Bonjour/Hello!

I'm an multidisciplinary, bilingual artist (French Canadian/English) with a love for blending movement, design, and storytelling.

Originally from Drummondville, Quebec, I began my creative journey in contemporary dance, training at The School of Dance in Ottawa and performing with Tara Luz Danse.

In 2019, my path expanded into interior design, where I discovered how spaces can tell stories and spark emotions. A couple of years in Halifax deepened my skills in event production, branding, and creative collaborations with florists, builders, and designers.

Now based in Toronto, I create under the name Open Art Collective—a practice rooted in curiosity, play, and the belief that creativity grows through connection, where ideas flow freely and art feels open to everyone.
